Eric Tower Obituary

Eric Nelson Tower, 72, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born February 25, 1949 in East Cleveland, OH to Herbert Edward and Lilyn Mildred (Nelson) Tower. Eric graduated from Eastlake North High School and went on to serve in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. Eric married the love of his life, Linda, and together they shared many joyous memories. He was employed for many years as an instrument technician at Toledo Refinery Company and was a member of Northwood VFW Post 2984.

Eric leaves behind his wife of 21 years, Linda; his children, Dane (Cynthia) Hubbard and Daren (Jenny) Tower; and his sister, Susan Filion. He was preceded in death by his son Dean; his brother-in-law, Bob; and his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later time. Memorial contributions in Eric's name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
