Eugene A. Krum

Eugene A. Krum, age 88 of Williston passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Eugene graduated from Woodward High School and retired from CSX Railroad after 38 years of service. He loved riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles and traveling with his wife. They traveled to every state west of the Mississippi and almost every state east. He and his wife were members of the Goldwingers Motorcycle Club. Eugene raised tropical fish for local pet stores for many years. His greatest joys in life were his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Bonnie; children Denise (Jeff) McGirt, Kevin (Chris) Assad, Lisa (Toby) Autry, Janine Emlinger (John Sullivan), Tracy Krum, and Todd Krum; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Linda Williams. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kelly Assad.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 4-8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are appreciated to either Ohio Living Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
