Eugene Mayer Obituary

Eugene Mayer, 78, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away July 3, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 2, 1939 in Tiffin to Donald and Aline (Benner) Mayer. Eugene served in the National Guard and was a mechanic at Roadway for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 1995. Eugene loved to travel.

Eugene is survived by his three children, William Mayer, John Mayer, and Mary Fergusen; loving wife, Kathleen; stepchildren; two brothers; two sisters; a brother-in-law; a sister-in-law; best friend and loyal companion, Rocky. He is preceded in death by his baby boy Mark; parents; and stepson, Tom.

According to the wishes of the family, services for Eugene will be private.
