Franklin Richard Davis

Franklin R. Davis, age 90, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at home surrounded by family.  He was born on February 28, 1933 in Deshler, Ohio to Alphaus and Dorothy Davis.  Franklin was a 1951 graduate of Macomber High School and served in the U.S. Army, during the Korean War.  Franklin worked for Libbey Glass in machine repair, retiring in 2005. 

Franklin is survived by his daughters, Patricia Henry and Christina Cisneros; grandchildren, Heather Czlapinski, April Baker, Jenna (Andy Hoot) Czlapinski, Alysia Henley, Sheldon Carr, and Alex Cisneros; great-grandchildren, Courtney Drain, Ryan Wise, Chastity (Damon) Roberts, Kaycee, Connor Baker, Dawson Hoot and Kalob Hoot; great great-grandson, Tyler Roberts; and sister-in-law, Barbara Davis.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; brothers, Harold, Charles, and Peter Davis; sister, Laura Bennett; and sons-in-law, Robin Cisneros and Dan Henry.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 2-8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
