Glen Edward Boone

Glen Edward Boone, 71, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was born March 5, 1950 in Pulaski, TN to John and Marie Boone. He attended Scott High School and went on to marry the love of his life, Julie, and together they raised their family. He was employed for many years in maintenance and retired from the Manhattan Building Company in 2016. Glen enjoyed working on home projects and was a jack of all trades. He also enjoyed working in his yard, gardening, eating his wife’s cooking and traveling with his wife, Julie, but most of all he loved his family.

Glen leaves behind his daughter, Barbara; his grandchildren, Devonte, Devin, Aliyah, Clifton, and Andre; 3 great-grandchildren with two on the way; his mother, Marie; his siblings Larry (Pat), and Linda (Rich). He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Julie; his father, John; his son, Glen Jr; and his brothers, Charles and Wade.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Toledo Memorial Park Chapel of Peace on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. and Glen will be laid to rest next to his wife. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
