Grace M. Hamp

Grace M. Hamp, 71, of Oregon, OH, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021.  She was born August 30, 1949 in Toledo, OH to Andrew J. and Stella Marie (Florkowski) Hamp. Grace was a 1967 graduate of Woodward High School and worked for many years as a store manager at Lane Bryant in Toledo and Sandusky and also for Wonder Bread. She was a longtime volunteer at the Our Lady of Toledo Shrine and was a former member of the Corda Club and an active parishioner at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Grace is survived by her sister, Jackie; her brothers, Frank C. and Richard L. (Diane); her brother-in-law, Leroy; her nieces and nephews, Dean (Andrea), Dawn, Courtney (Roberto) and Kendra; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her best friend and sister, Theresa; her parents; and her beloved fur baby Sheena.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with the funeral service held at 4:00 p.m. Grace will be laid to rest at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family or Our Lady of Toledo Shrine.
