Irene J. Pryke

Irene J. Pryke, 73, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital.  She was born on May 17,1948 in Toledo, Ohio to James and Lillian Blaylock.  Irene was a 1967 graduate of Clay High School.  She worked at various places over the years, most recently Walgreen’s Distribution Center, retiring after 12 years of service.  In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting for treasures and selling items at area flea markets.

            Irene is survived by her sons, Aaron Pryke and Paul Pryke; brother, John (Charmaine) Blaylock; nieces and nephews, Toni (John) Voigt, Joseph Brown, Rona Lockwood, and Beth Spanninger and many great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Blaylock and sister, Carol Thacker.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 10-12:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Private burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
