Jack “JT” Taylor

Jack Steven Taylor, 59, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Genacross at Toledo. He was born on October 29, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to Jack and Geraldine Taylor. Jack was a 1976 graduate of Waite High School. He worked for the Jeep Corporation for many years and most recently for the Thirsty Pony/Quality Inn Hotel in Sandusky. Jack loved to play pool and was known as a pool shark. He also was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the Ohio State Buckeyes, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Tigers. In his younger years, Jack played hockey, coached and was a referee. He will be dearly missed.

Jack is survived by his sister, Cyndi Schwartz; nieces, Kelly (Darius) Dotson, Brittany Morris, Brandy (Josh) Joas and Haley Schwartz; 4 great-nieces and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ronald Schwartz.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the family or Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
