James Edward Beaty I age 72 of Toledo passed away at home on Monday, May 22, 2023. Jim was born to Cecil and Mary Jane (Laing) Beaty on July 11, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from Waite High School and worked as a union electrician with the IBEW Local 8. Jim was a motorcycle enthusiast and had many friends that were family. He loved hanging out with his buddies, playing darts, duckpin, having a beer, and going camping and canoeing. He will be deeply missed.

Jim is survived by his sons James Edward (Darcy) Beaty II, John Daniel Beaty, and Jayson Lee Beaty; grandchildren Jamie Leigh Beaty, Alexis Jordyn Beaty, Ashley Nicole Whitman, and Dakota James Beaty; many great-grandchildren; siblings Ruth (Mike) Frankhouse, Marie Campos, Jack Beaty, and Jerry Beaty; numerous nieces and nephews and his best buddy Chuck Cascadden. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Frank Campos.

Per Jim’s wishes, he wanted to be cremated. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Please remember he loved everybody.
