James Carleton Robedeau “Jimmy” age 85, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday September 12, 2020 at Beaumont Taylor Hospital in Taylor, MI.  Jimmy was born to Carleton and Lottie (Zapiecki) Robedeau on September 3, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio. He was a 1953 graduate of Central Catholic High School and went on to serve our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Jimmy retired from Port Lawrence Title Agency- Downtown in 2000. He loved attending live sports particularly Notre Dame Football and Tigers Baseball. Jimmy was a longtime parishioner St. Catherine of Sienna Parish and loved his morning McDonald’s coffee meetups with friends after retirement. He was a dependable family man who loved his kids and had a great sense of humor. He lived for family gatherings and sometimes planned Holidays months in advance. Jimmy loved life and found enjoyment every day.
Jimmy is survived by his loving children Scott (Roberta) Robedeau of Walton, KY, Michelle Barron of Westland, MI and Nicole (Eric) Ulrich of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren Brandon Ulrich, Elijah Ulrich, Paris Ulrich and Jakob Barron; cousin Donald (Linda) Yingling and best friend Danny Pfeiffer. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel in Oregon, Ohio on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 12 until 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Catherine of Sienna Parish.
