James Sibbersen Obituary

James F. Sibbersen, 76, died Thursday, March 8, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 5, 1941 in Toledo to Francis and Harriet (Bee) Sibbersen. Jim was a graduate of Macomber High School and served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Globe Industry and Reiter Automotive retiring after 27 years of service. He was a life member of American Legion #338 Bradner and the NRA and a member of Moose Lodge 1610. Jim enjoyed hunting and gambling.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Donna; children, James (Laura), Dennis, Kelly (Jim), Jimmy (Shasta) Sibbersen, Joe (Jane) Dziurgot, William (Summer) Armentrout, Dawn (Mike) Jackson and Teri (Billy) Fowler; 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and sister, Karen Wilhalm. He is preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Shirley and sister, Leslie Sibbersen.

A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, March 12, 2018, from 2-6 p.m. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Zenobia Shrine Transportation Fund or Donor’s Choice.
