JoAnn Sodd

Joann Sodd, age 80, of Oregon passed away March 1, 2020 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Toledo. Joann was born to John and Sarah Kitchens on April 27, 1939 in Gibson, Georgia. She was the mother of nine children and loved being a grandmother. She enjoyed nature watching, fishing, and going to the Arrowpoint Campground in Loudonville, Ohio. Joann enjoyed watching Ohio State Buckeye Football.
Joann is survived by her children, John Williamson, Cynthia (Rick) Steward, Angela (Nicholas)  Schubmehl, Anthony (Paula) Williamson, Tina (Frank) Leach, Marcy (Kevin) Aston, Tonya (Claude) Cheatham, and Tamara (Michael) Bolfa; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters, Sarah LaFavor and Martha Scott and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving companion in 1997, Gilbert Dunmire, a son in 2009, Flemming “Bud” Williamson; and siblings, Elizabeth Blodgett, JL Kitchens, Ruth Moore, Thomas Kitchens.

The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N Stadium Rd. Oregon, Ohio 43616 at 1 p.m. on Saturday where family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
