Joanne B. Flick

Joanne B. Flick, age 88, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Bay Park Community Hospital.  She was born on November 30, 1933 in Mansfield, Ohio to Thelma (Roy) Mason and Paul Wasserman.  Joanne was a 1951 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  She worked for Ohio Bell for a few years before starting her family.  She married her husband, Eugene on December 10, 1955 and together they raised four children. Joanne later went back to work, this time with Toledo Public Schools, retiring after 22 years.  She was a longtime member of Unity United (Oakdale) Methodist Church.

Joanne is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Eugene Flick; children, Jill Sandoval, Ronald (Sandy) Flick, Connie Butler, and Mary (Douglas) Stage; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Megan) Wietrzykowski, and Jamie (Michael) Adams; four step grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Mark Flick; step granddaughter, Melanie Cranmore; and her sons-in-law, Jim Wietrzykowski, Don Sandoval and Keith Butler.

Private services will be held for family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Unity United Methodist Church 1910 E. Broadway St. Northwood, Ohio 43619.
