John Joseph Dutcher

John Joseph Dutcher age 77, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at home on Sunday, September 5, 2021. John was born to Albert and Florence (Blue) Dutcher on June 13, 1944, in Toledo. He was married to his wife Patricia (Sumner) on October 5, 1966. She preceded him in death in 2008 after 42 years of marriage. John loved to fix stuff. When he wasn’t fixing things he was looking for things to fix. He was a carpenter by trade and loved to work on cars. John listened to his country music every morning.

John is survived by his son Ricky Dutcher; daughter Mary (David) Mangus; grandchildren Jason Dutcher, Patty (Andy) Wettle, Mindy Dutcher, Calleen (Austin) Maynard, Brad (Stefani) Dutcher, and Becky Dutcher; great-grandchildren Zooey, Willow, Avery, Karter, Thane, Kylie, and Owen. Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son Mark Dutcher and his 6 brothers and sisters.

 Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio from 2 until 8 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021. A funeral service will be held in the chapel Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the family.
