John Hazel Obituary

John E. Hazel age 85, of Northwood, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Bay Park Community Hospital. John was born July 17, 1935, to Edmond and Vera (Heath) Hazel in Toledo, Ohio. He retired as a Production Manager from Textile Leather after 35 years of service. After retirement, he worked for Lake Township Cemetery. John enjoyed fishing, traveling, and camping.

John is survived by his son Steve (Judy) Hazel and daughter Robin (Al) Merritt; grandson Jonathon Hazel and close cousin Carol Rush. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 62 years Naomi in 2018, brothers Buck, Tom, and Terry, and sisters Sharon and Elsie.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Lake Township Cemetery.
