Julia Ann Sigler

Julia Ann Sigler, 72, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 surrounded by her family.  She was born on January 26, 1948 in Oregon, Ohio to Norman and Joyce Jaquillard.  Julia was a 1966 graduate of Clay High School and married her high school sweetheart, Jerry on June 1, 1968 and remained together until his passing on October 17, 2005.  She worked as a nursing assistant for the Genoa Care Center for 20 years.  Julia enjoyed spending time with her family especially cooking and weekly game nights.  In her spare time, she loved going to casinos and traveling.     She will be deeply missed.

Julia is survived by her children, Brian (Carol) Sigler, Jeremy (Gretchen) Sigler and Sheri (William) Watkins; grandchildren, Samantha, Rebekah, Josh, Hannah, Kyle, Patrick, Will, and Hannah; her sisters, Billie (Joe) Sloan, Roxanne Valentine, Debbie Fox, and Norma (David) Barbar and in-laws, Cathleen (Mike) Shobe and Glenna (Randy) Taylor and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jerry.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, January 8, 2021, from 8:30 -11:30 a.m. where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Young Life.
