Kenneth James Wells

            Kenneth J. Wells, age 77, of Oregon, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 23, 2021.  He was born on July 12, 1944 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Kenneth H. Wells and Ethel J. Taylor.  Kenneth was a graduate of Clay High School and worked as an auto mechanic for many years.  He owned his transmission shop and was always fixing cars.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed.

            Kenneth is survived by his son, Jimmy Wells and his children, Steven Reed, and Suzie Wells; his daughter, Sherrie (Sam) Henneman and their children, Joshawa (Heather) Henneman and Sarah Henneman; and their grandchildren, Joshawa, Makenna, and Samiah; his son, Donald, who preceded him in death, and his children, Christopher, and Gayle Wells.  He is also survived by his brother, Randy (Ruthy) Wells; sister-in-law, Dawn Peraino; and daughter-in-law, Shannon Wojtowicz.  He was also preceded in death by his parents; wife, Crystal; son, Donald and brothers, Bud (Dianne) Wells and Marty Wells.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 28th from 2-4:00 p.m. at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon.  A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
