Linda Jean Matheny

Linda Jean Matheny, 65, of Toledo, OH, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was born August 16, 1955 in Toledo, OH to Luther and Elloise (Bollinger) Carder. Linda loved to bake cookies for her grandchildren and spend time with her dear family and friends. She was always in-the-know with her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her children Jim (Shasta), Michael (Genny) and Randy (Angi); her daughter-in-law, Michele; her grandchildren, Kaleb, Gabriela, Javier, Sole, Marisa, Cameron, Ana, Raquel, Alyssa, Emilio, Randy Jr., Shiloh, Raylynn, Kaylin, Nevaeh, Kiara, Aviahna, and Danielle; her siblings, Clara, Ada, Val, Rick, Cheryl, Delmar, and Robert. She is preceded in death by her husband, Randy; her son, Troy; her siblings, Bill, Richard, Annette, and Charlotte; and her parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH.
