Lucetta Bellville Obituary

Lucetta May Bellville, 81, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at MercyHealth-St. Charles Hospital. She was born on August 23, 1939 in Curtice, Ohio to Ambrose and Margaret Mossburg. Lucy was a 1957 graduate of Bedford High School and earned her associate degree before working as a tax preparer. She worked at H & R Block for over 30 years, retiring in 2013. Lucy was a member of Westgate Chapel and the C.M.I. Choir. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, reading, and working on genealogy. Lucy was an avid baseball fan; her favorite teams were the N.Y. Yankees and Toledo Mud Hens. She will be dearly missed.

Lucy is survived by her children: Allen J. Bellville Jr., Sherry (John) Kertesz, Timothy (Rhonda) Bellville, Lisa Boyd and Patricia Poston; grandchildren; Allen Bellville III, Amy (Jeremy) Grindle, Stephen (Chelsea) Kertesz, Melanie (Troy) Minnick, Ben (Amy) Kertesz, Melissa (Thomas) Kepler, Melody (Michael) Rushlow, Luke (Heather) Patay, Kelli (Devon) Hassenruck, Joseph Kertesz, Noah Bellville, Megan Bellville, and Emily Bellville; great-grandchildren, Tyler Rushlow, Marissa Rushlow, Elli Godsey, Noah Rushlow, Hannah Halsey, Cayla Halsey, Gabriel Halsey, Nathan Grindle, Taylor Grindle, Shay Grindle, Samantha Minnick, Alexander Minnick, Lillian Kepler, Aurora Minnick, Henry Kepler, Mason Hassenruck, two on the way, Baby Kepler and Baby Bellville; sisters, Peggy (Norman) Nichoson and Jean Padilla. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Bellville Sr. and son-in-law, David Poston.

Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd Oregon, OH 43616 on Friday, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Westgate Chapel 2500 Wilford Dr, Toledo, OH 43615 on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. where family will greet guests after 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or Westgate Chapel.
