Obituary

Manuel Menchaca, 77, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Gardens of St. Francis.  He was born on October 28, 1944 in Woodville, Ohio to Martin and Sofia Menchaca.  Manuel served in the U.S. Airforce, during the Vietnam War.  He retired from AT&T, formerly, Ohio Bell. 

Manuel is survived by his children, Angelina (Jeff) Knisely, Christina (Andy) Hogencamp and Manuel Menchaca Jr.; 11 grandchildren, Randy DeLuca Jr., Dallas, Austin, Nevada, Nolan and Liberty Knisely, Max and Megan Reed, Brittany and Matthew Hogencamp and Manuel Menchaca III; siblings, Marcelino (Sylvia) Menchaca, Norma (Juan) Salazar, Irma (Rudy) Garcia, and Michael Menchaca; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda; brother, Martin Menchaca, and nephew, Stevie Mendez.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner St., Walbridge, OH 43465 where mass will follow at 10:00 a.m.
