Margaret L. Bugaj

Margaret L. Bugaj age 86 of Toledo passed away October 4, 2022, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Margaret was born to Vincenzo “Jim” and Anna (Giovannucci) Bulone on October 22, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a 1953 graduate of Notre Dame Academy. She worked for the West Equipment Company for 36 years and for the past 18 years she worked with AAA Wire and Rope Splicing. Margaret was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord- St Thomas Catholic Church.

Everyone who knew her was welcome at her table. She loved cooking and feeding her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she will be deeply missed.

Margaret is survived by her children Lucia (Doug) Murphy and Anthony (Karen) Bugaj Jr.; grandchildren Vincenzo (Amanda) Bulone, Vanessa Bulone, Anthony (Leah) Bugaj, Vincent (Jaci) Bugaj, and Alycia Murphy; great-grandchildren Vincenzo, Thomas, Tristan, Antonio, and Lincoln Bulone, Cecilia and Lindsey Bugaj; and daughters-in-law Brenda Bugaj and Lisa Sanchez

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Anthony J. Bugaj Sr.; sons Thomas Bulone and Vincent Bugaj; and sister Lucia Sieja.   

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
