Marianne Virginia Schwamberger

Marianne V. Schwamberger, 86, of Walbridge, OH and of Largo, FL, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 17, 1935 in Toledo, OH to Ralph H. and Anna M. (Hock) Eppard. Marianne attended Whitney Vocational High School and later Stautzenberger Business College. She married the love of her life, Glenn, and together they raised their family. In 1992, she retired from Conrail/PC/NYC after 32 years of service as a stenographer. Marianne loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking, baking, crafting especially painting, reading, travelling and camping. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marianne leaves behind her husband, Glenn “Matt” L. Schwamberger; her daughter, Betty Lou Niezgoda; her grandchildren, Eric Lee (Kari), Brook (Kevin), Stephanie, Matthew, and Melissa; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Harold; her daughter, Patricia (Mike); her grandson, Scott; her brothers, Ralph, Jr. and John, Sr.; and her parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 11:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Memorial United Church of Christ, Toledo, OH.
