Marilyn R. Sparks

Marilyn R. Sparks, age 80, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Friday, November 18, 2022. She was born in Toledo, OH to Richard and Margaret (Nest) Fogle February 17, 1942. While Marilyn enjoyed an occasional camping trip, her greatest joy was her family. Marilyn was a devoted mother who dearly loved her children. She cherished raising her children, grandchildren, and even family friends she treated as her own. Marilyn was a fun loving, caring, and strong-willed person who was blessed with many who loved her.

Marilyn leaves behind her children, Laura, James (Vicky), Donna (Steven), and Mark (Roberta); her 12 grandchildren; her numerous great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Debbie, and Jerold; and her special friend, Trudy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Jeanie, Peggy, Kathy, Dicky, Joanne, and Jackie; her children, Jeanette, and Philip; and her granddaughter, Trisha. The family would like to extend a special thanks to nurse Jenna and aide Amanda with Elara Caring Hospice for the care they gave our mother.

Private services will be held and Marilyn will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon, OH. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Elara Caring Hospice Foundation.
