Michael Baker Obituary

Michael James Baker, 57, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born on October 20, 1962 in Toledo, Ohio to Fred and Judy Baker. Michael worked at various places over the years most recently Great Lakes Window. He was an avid sports fan, especially NASCAR. He was often found cheering for Dale Earnhardt Sr, the San Francisco 49ers and the Ohio State Buckeye. Michael also enjoyed listening to the Beatles and watching western movies and was a big John Wayne fan. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Delia; children, Amy Smith (Mike LaDuke), and Thomas Smith; mother, Judy Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Jessica (Isaiah), Emily, Marissa, and Brad; brothers, Mark Baker, Matthew Baker, Kevin (Bernadette) Baker, and Mickey Baker; sisters, Kamie (Terry) Boone, Angie Baker, and Dawn O’Neil and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 12-4 p.m. where services will be held at 4 p.m.
