Michael A. Harmon

Michael A. Harmon "Mike," age 65 of Toledo passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Flower Hospital. Mike was born to Frank and Barbara (Long) Harmon Sr. on July 11, 1957, in Oregon, Ohio. He graduated from Clay High School and went to work with the Lucas County Engineer. While working, he earned an associate's degree and his OPOTA certificate, allowing him to spend many years working as a Special Deputy for the Lucas County Sheriff's Office. Mike retired and became a full-time Officer at Owen's Community College. He loved being a police officer and, even though he was very humble, had the most generous spirit. Mike often talked about his childhood and enjoyed sharing stories about his family, especially his parents. He embraced the internet very early on and enjoyed running and setting up websites. Mike also appreciated eating a great Mancy's steak and spending time with the people he held dear, but there was nothing he loved more than having his canine companion, BoJack, by his side.

Michael is survived by his wife, Tracy; brother Frank (Debbie) Harmon Jr.; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carolyn Harmon-Rasi.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to LC4.
