Michael David Lunsford

            Michael David Lunsford, 47, of Oregon, OH, passed away at home surrounded by his family, Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was born in Toledo, OH to Roy and Carla Lunsford on September 30, 1973. Michael married the love of his life, Tammy, and together they spent 29 happy years raising their family. He worked for 25 years as a roofer before opening his own remodeling company, P&L Remodeling. Michael enjoyed Washington Redskins football, hunting and fishing, but most of all, he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with his grandson.

Michael leaves behind his wife, Tammy; his children, Sara (Christopher), Natasha (Jacob) and Devin (Trinity); his grandchildren, Griffin and Jax; his siblings, Matt (Megan), Max (Jamie) and Micki (Ray); his brother-in-law, Jeff; his mother, Carla; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy, and his sister, Michelle.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The memorial service will be held at Echo Meadows Church of Christ, 2905 Starr Ave., Oregon, OH, on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Michael will be laid to rest at St. Ignatius Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Heartland Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Memorial contributions in Michael’s name may be made to Heartland Hospice.
