Orion Edward Plnya Crippen

Orion Edward Plnya Crippen age 16, passed away on October 2, 2022, unexpectedly at his grandma’s house where he was staying to help. Orion was born to Josh Crippen and Amanda (Trouten) on September 6, 2006. He was an 11/10 comedian and was known to throw out that his name was “Bob” on occasion. Orion had a thick northwest Ohio Boston accent and always wore a hat and a beautiful smile. He was the kind of guy you would never forget meeting. “Boo” was his cat. He collected Funko Pops and Pokemon cards and loved Scooby Doo, Spongebob, and the color green. Orion played Fortnite as much as he could.   

Orion is survived by his parents Josh and Amanda Crippen; sisters Aurora Mercadies Crippen and Haley Joan Crippen; grandparents Robin Trouten, Rick Trouten (Bobbi Romstadt), Joan Crippen, and Paul Dennis; great-grandparents Paul and Janet Poignon; aunts and uncles Robert and Erika Trouten, Erik Crippen, Jessica Trouten, Lucas and Kati Crippen, Jenna Crippen, and Jamie Crippen; cousins Elaina Yeary, Harrison Crippen, and Brooklyn Trouten. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Rick Crippen; great-grandparents Raymond Rank, Harry and Jeanette Dull and his uncle Edward “Flip” Berryhill.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 3 until 8 p.m. A time of sharing will be held at 7 p.m.
