Patrick Martin Tucker

Patrick Martin Tucker, 71, of Oak Harbor, OH, died on his birthday, Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born to a joyous Patrick and Marilyn (Belanger) Tucker in Toledo, OH on January 29, 1951. Patrick served in the US Army, attaining the rank of Lt. Colonel. He married the love of his life, Janice, and together they raised their children, Elice and Aaron. In his later years, Patrick was an archaeology professor at the University of Toledo. He was a devoted, husband, father, and family man.

Patrick leaves behind his loving wife, Janice; his children Elice (Zachary) Martin and Aaron Tucker; his sister, Karen Tucker; his mother, Marilyn; his nieces and nephew, Stephanie, Brianna, Krissy, Mike and Carrie; and his dogs, Penny, Gus, Cosmo, Elsie, and Luna. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick; his brothers, Paul and Richard; his sister, Colleen; and his brother-in-law, Joe Pflum.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm where the funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm with military funeral honors. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to a mental health charity of the donor’s choice. The family wishes to thank the staff at Toledo Hospital, Seventh Floor, and Promedica Ebeid Hospice Residence for their kind and compassionate care. He will be laid to rest at Lake Township Cemetery, on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
