Peggy Sue Rasar

Peggy Rasar, age 64, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Bay Park Community Hospital.  She was born on April 24, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to Jane Poucher and Harry Martin Sr.  Peggy worked as a tax auditor for H&R Block and had various sales jobs over the years.  She married Ernest Rasar, Jr. on September 3, 1976 and they had three children together.  Family was most important to Peggy, and she supported them any way she could.  Peggy was involved in many of her kid’s activities over the years.  In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting.  She will be dearly missed.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Ernest Rasar Jr.; children, Sue Rasar and Ernest Rasar, III; grandson, John Whittecar; siblings, Harry (Mary) Martin Jr., Linda Martin, David Martin, Tony (Teresa) Martin, Tim Martin, Beverly (George) Hadley, Harry (Courtney) Martin, and Lucas Martin; and her sister-in-law, Deb Foreman.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jane (Mike) Conley and Harry (Donna) Martin, Sr.; daughter, Rada Rasar; brother, Robert Foreman; and stepsiblings, David (Cindy) Conley and Debbie Conley.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 12:00-2:00 p.m.  Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park.
