Obituary

 

 

Phillip Ray, age 64, of Lorain, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 25, 2023.  He was born on May 19, 1958 in Waynesboro, Tennessee to Wilma and Billy Ray.  Phillip was a graduate of Waite High School.  He worked at Riddell Sports Equipment Company for many years.

 

Phillip is survived by his significant other, Berneice Branham; children, Nikki (Matt) Branham, Jeremy (Stephanie) Branham, Teddy (Rachel) Branham, Daniel (Amber) Branham, Samantha (John) Kincaid, and Angela Branham; 24 grandchildren; niece, Kristal Sutton; nephews, Billy (Amber) Ray, and Matt Sutton; seven great-nieces and nephews; and two great great-nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilma and Billy R. Ray; sister, Bobbie Lou Ray, and his brother, Billy Mark Ray.

 

A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 2-8:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
