Phillip Watkins

Phillip Watkins, age 60, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020.  He was born on September 25, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to Forester and Laura Evelyn (Hackworth) Watkins.  Phillip was a 1977 graduate of Lake High School.  He worked as an inspector for MS Companies for many years and as a ground’s keeper at local area golf courses.  Phil enjoyed being outdoors, golfing, hunting, fishing and trapping.  He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed trivia.  Phil was known for his quick wit and he was an encyclopedia of useless knowledge.  He also enjoyed doing crossword and sudoku puzzles.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Phillip is survived by his siblings, Forest (Ann) Watkins and Mary Ann (Alan, Sr.) Carter; father and stepmother, Forester and Beula Mae Watkins; stepsister, Gina (Terry) Traver and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother and stepsister, Shirleen Travillian.

Immediate family only may visit Freck Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 28, from 10-12 p.m. where services will be held at 12 p.m.  Burial will take place at Lake Twp. Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
