Richard "Rick" Carr

Richard M. Carr, 63, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.  He was born on October 20, 1954 in Oregon, Ohio to Merle and Mildred Carr.  Rick was a 1973 graduate of Clay High School and worked for M & M Restaurant Supply, retiring in 2012. 

Rick’s grandchildren brought many special moments in his life. Rick enjoyed sleep overs and camping with the kids.  Rick had a love of horses and enjoyed watching sports.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Ann (Parkins); children, Tracy (Ashley) Carr and Ashley (Kevin) Schutte; grandchildren, Makenna, Rylie, Tucker, and expectant baby boy Carr; siblings, William (Barbara) Carr, Margie Bringe, Violet (Walter) Kerstetter, John Carr and Darlene (Don) Wells;  Mother-in-law, Margaret Parkins along with brother & Sister in-laws; Ron & Doris Parkins, Jerry & Terry Parkins, Marcia &Joe Wagner, Betty&Dave Sanchez, Karen & Ed Kuhn, Jane & Mark Morgan, Tim & Jackie Parkins, Tony & Lindsay Parkins, Chris Parkins& Kara Delarber, Judy & Ted DeMars, Brian & Laura Parkins

 He was preceded in death by his parents, father in-law, Lloyd Parkins and sister-in-law Cindy Schultz, brother-in-law Fred Bringe

A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, October 7, 2018, from 12-3 p.m. where a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Miracle League of Northwest Ohio, or donor’s choice.
