Richard Lee Kline, Sr., 59, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021. Richard was born on March 19, 1961 to William and Evelyn Kline in Toledo, Ohio.

Richard retired from the Anderson’s where he worked as a maintenance/ electrical engineer. He was a beloved (or lifetime) Eastsider who loved boating, camping, fishing, as well as spending time with family and friends. He was looked upon for his mechanical mastery as he was a jack of all trades and always helped anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; son, Richard Jr. (Lindey); daughter, Melanie; grandchildren, Mark, Fybee, Hunter, Isaiah, Izabella, Deyonno, and Iris; his siblings, Rose (Dave) Downey, Jim (Marleen), Pam (Mike); his mother, Evelyn; and many other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, William and brother, Bill.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
