Rita "Terri" Eileen Staton

Rita “Terri” Eileen Staton, age 69, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born April 11, 1953 in Toledo, OH to William and Rita (Sweeney) Mahler. Terri enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family, and her dogs and cats. She was employed by Fifth Third bank for 44 years.

Terri leaves behind her children, Amy Barker, and Jim (Susan) Staton; her siblings, Patricia (Richard) Squibb, and Rose (Johnny) Reising; and her dear cats. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim Staton, Sr.; her parents, William and Rita Mahler; and her brother and sister-in-law, William “Bud” (Donna) Mahler.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the memorial service to be held at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the American Red Cross, or the American Cancer Society.
