Ronald Greenwood Obituary

Ronald Gene Greenwood, 73 of Oregon, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021. Ronald was born on April 15, 1947 in Millbury, Ohio. He served during the Vietnam War in the US Navy. Ron was a mechanic throughout his life and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Ronald is survived by his partner of 30 years Shirley Ritter; step-children, Ron (Shelly) Ritter, Troy (Georgette) Ritter; children, Kelly (John) Rollins, Sean (Kelly) Greenwood and Michele Rice; siblings, Robert Greenwood and Darlene (Larry) Jodouin; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Esther Greenwood.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ronald’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
