Rosamond Zimmer Obituary

Rosamond (Rose) Zimmer, age 90, of Monclova, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 16, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on February 27, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Glenn and Paulina Withrow. Rosamond graduated from Waite High School. She retired from Toledo Edison. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottages in Florida and Michigan. Beyond everything else she loved spending time with her family.

Rosamond is survived by her children, Christine (Gregory) Dietz and Constance Sickles; stepchildren, Allen Zimmer and Darlene Zimmer; several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ronald; daughter, Catherine Murphy; parents, Glenn and Paulina Withrow; and her brothers, Ernest and Robert Withrow. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Patti Cranker for all her support and care.

Private graveside services will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
