Rowland "Rolo" Huth

Rowland Huth, 73, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Heritage Village of Waterville.  He was born on March 24, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to Sterling and Tillie Huth.  Rolo was a 1967 graduate of Waite High School where he met the love of his life, Donna Jean Rudd and a long life of love was shared between them until her passing in 2014.  Rolo proudly served in the Unites States Army, during the Vietnam War and continued to serve in various veteran organizations long after.  He worked as an insurance inspector for many years before retiring. His deepest joy came from spending time with family and his many pets, especially road trips with his brother Lou or Donna to the various veteran memorials in Washington D.C. and the 9/11 site in New York City.

Rowland is survived by his children Joe Huth (Jess) and JoAnna Oyler (Tim), granddaughter Autumn Rose, siblings Chuck (Pat), Dorothy (Rex) and Kay.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna Jean; and siblings, Dave and Lou. A memorial is to be held at a later time.
