Sharon Korb

Sharon Korb, age 78, of Toledo, OH, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio peacefully to be with the Lord on March 15, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 8, 1946, in Steubenville, OH, to Walton and Evelyn (Chostkov) Gasper. She was loved by many, including her late husband, Dennis O. Korb. She grew up in Steubenville, Ohio, as an only child and avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Walter Gasper, and her late husband, Dennis O. Korb. She is survived by her children, Christopher Korb and Jennifer Korb; her grandchildren, Katlin Cantu, Cassandra Cantu, Megan Korb, Lindsey Dazley, Michael Dazley, and Andrew Korb; and her loving great-grandson, Xayden Prothero, whom she called “a pistol” who she truly adored.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Grace Brethren Church, 1820 OH-590, Gibsonburg, OH 43431, at 3:00 p.m., with a luncheon to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon, OH.
