Steven Wilson Obituary

Steven Charles Wilson, 60, of Toledo, OH passed away on July 23, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on June 18,1961 in Oregon, OH to Charles and Jeanette (Foust) Wilson. Steve was a 1979 graduate of Morrison R. Waite High School. After high school, Steve served in the United States Naval Construction Battalions (Seabee) for eight years. Steve enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a fan of OSU Buckeyes, Detroit Red Wings and Tigers, and the Steelers.

Steve is survived by his wife, Beverly; mother, Jeanette; children, Charlene (Sean) Perry, Joshua, Shane (Mandi), Danielle, Matthew; siblings, Jeffrey Wilson, Doreen (Raymond) Verdin, Dawn Sherer; and 9 grandchildren. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Charles and sisters, Darla and Dianna.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 10-2:00 p.m. where services will follow at 2:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Vincent’s for their care and compassion for Steve.
