Susie Olivarez

Susie Olivarez, 74, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Center.  She was born on September 13, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to Carl and Mary Padgett. In her younger years, Susie worked at Doehler-Jarvis and later in her life she worked at various nursing homes in the Toledo area.  She was a member of Lewis Ave Baptist Church.  Susie loved her children and had a big heart for all children.  She was a foster parent to many over the years.  Susie enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family.  She will be dearly missed.

Susie is survived by her children, Timothy Wahl Sr, Jimmy Wahl, Rodney Wahl Sr, Shelly (Timmy) Slone, and Cassandra Moore; several grandchildren, especially, Rodney Jr, Amber and Dustin Wahl who she adopted.  She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her siblings, Betty Padgett, Arch (Diane) Padgett, Orville Padgett, Joanne Stall, and Donna (Jerry) Vimr.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary Padgett; children, Sandra Wahl, Edward Wahl, and Phillip Wahl Sr; and her sisters, Genevieve, Mary and Sandra.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 11:00-3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
