Thomas C. Irving

Thomas C. Irving, 75, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Skld of Perrysburg after a valiant battle with cancer.  He was born on November 25, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Nomeda Irving.  Thomas proudly served in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War.  He was a self-employed concrete/brick mason contractor for many years.  Thomas was an active member of Christ Dunberger American Legion Post #537.  He was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He will be dearly missed.

Thomas is survived by his sister, Mary Ann (Herman) Baerkircher; brother, Louis “Red” Irving; sister-in-law, Shirley Irving; former spouse and friend, Marge Prater; nieces and nephews, Barbara (Gary) Lovell, Dianne (Tim) Cordell, Rick (Melinda) Irving, Mike (Wanda) Irving, David Irving, Stephanie Irving, and Lisa (Steve) Thomas.  He is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews and several great great-nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandy; brother, Richard; niece, Patty and sister-in-law, Rita.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, September 3, 2021, from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Blessed St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 24250 Dixie Highway in Perrysburg.  Burial will take place at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Blessed St. John XXIII Catholic Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
