Vanita (Hackler) Dupuis

Vanita Dupuis, 76, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 surrounded by family.  She was born on October 19, 1944 in Jellico, Tennessee to Vann and Ann Hackler.  Vanita was a 1962 graduate of Waite High School.  She worked as a Paraprofessional for Toledo Public Schools for 32 years, retiring in 2005.  Vanita enjoyed gardening, baking, reading books, and spending time with family and friends.  She will be dearly missed.

Vanita is survived by her son, Robert “Scott” Dupuis, and her granddaughter, Candice Patterson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Lorrie Patterson.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, May 31, 2021, from 2-6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Lake Twp. Cemetery on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Donor’s choice.
