William Booth Obituary

William R. Booth, Jr.

William "Bill" Richard Booth Jr., 57, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Orchard Villa.  He was born on March 12, 1963 in Cleveland, Ohio to William Booth, Sr. and JoAnn Ashworth. Bill attended North Olmsted High School. Bill loved to cook and was affectionately known as "Chef Skinny Bill". He was a collector of all things Marvin the Martian, which filled his room at Orchard Villa.  Bill was active in resident activities and most recently became the President of Resident Council.

Anyone that knew Bill knows that above all else, he loved his family. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Booth and Lindsay Booth; grandchild, Logan Davis; siblings, Vernita "Gale" (Jason) Booth, James (Corie) Booth, Edith (Terry) Booth, and Lewis (Terri) Booth; Step-mother, Mary Booth.  Another source of great joy in his life was time spent with his numerous nieces and nephews and their families. He loved each and every one of them, much like his own children.  Those who have gone before him include his father, William Booth, Sr.; mother, JoAnn Fedorov; Step-father, Nickolai Fedorov and brother, Nickolai "Nicky" Fedorov.

His children would like to thank the staff and residents at Orchard Villa for being such a big part of their father's life. As much as he loved the family he was given, he also loved the friends he saw every day, many of which were his chosen family.

There will be a celebration of Bill's life at a later time, when family and friends are able to once again gather, share stories and eat a good meal in his honor.
