William Kenneth Long, age 75 of Oregon, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at home. Bill was born to Clifford and Anna (Uber) Long in Findley Township, Pennsylvania on October 13, 1946. After graduating from Mercer High School in Pennsylvania, he joined the U.S. Army and served our country during the Vietnam War. Bill earned his Bachelor of Accounting from Grove City College. He worked as a controller for many years and retired from Rosenboom Machine and Tool.
Bill is survived by his wife Raedell; children Jennifer Long and Andrew (Monica) Long; step-children Troy (Amy) Rothenbuhler and Robin (Jarrod) Buffy; grandchildren Madison, Jake, Braedyn, and Jensen; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara Campbell, and mother of his children Sharon Long.
Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Ronald McDonald House or Christ United Methodist Church.
