Arthur Fred McLaughlin

            Arthur “Fred” McLaughlin, 76, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center.  He was born on September 8, 1938 in Toledo to Arthur and Eunice McLaughlin.  Arthur owned McLaughlin Lawn Care & Snow Removal for over 30 years and worked at L.O.F. for 31 years.    He loved spending time with his family, attending events and volunteering at Calvary Lutheran Church.  Arthur had a lifelong love for horses and going to car shows.  In his spare time, he enjoyed landscaping his yard and taking care of the pond. He will be dearly missed.     

            Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary; children, Troy (Gwen) McLaughlin and Tim (Stacey) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Britney, Kirk, Cody, Kirsten, Hunter and Blake; sisters, Sherry (Zeno) Selmek and Patricia Selmek.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

            Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 3 - 9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Calvary Lutheran Church 1930 Bradner Rd. in Northwood where family will greet guests after 10 a.m.  Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
