Danny L. Patrick

            Danny L. Patrick, 71, of Toledo, OH passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home. He was born in Monclova, OH on July 29, 1945 to Irwin and Mary (Walker) Patrick. Danny was a graduate of Anthony Wayne High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during Vietnam. Danny was employed as a Forklift Mechanic at Seaway Foodtown until retiring in 2000. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved being “Papa” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

            Danny is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Toshie Patrick; children, Scott Patrick and Angela (Greg) Cousino; grandchildren, Justin, Darcee, Corey and Alex; great-grandchildren, Aaleina, Ava, Clara, Lilliana, Clay, Emree, Kinsley and Levi and sister, Linda O’Keefe. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Gary and William Patrick and Mary Jo Bobrick and best friend, Otis “Papa Odie” Strawbridge.

             Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 12 to 4 p.m. where a veteran’s service will take place before the Funeral. His Funeral will be held at 4 p.m. that day in the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
