KATHLEEN  LAURA  (WENTWORTH)  LANGE

            Kathleen L. Lange, 64, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born August 4, 1953 in Bay City, MI to Herbert V. and Arlene E. (Dardas) Wentworth.  She was a graduate of Bay City Central High School class of 1971, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.  Post-graduation she earned a professional secretarial certification through Professional Secretaries International.  Kay worked as a medical secretary and worked for the American Medical Association in Washington, DC.  She was a devout member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served on the Altar Guild. Kay taught Sunday school for many years. She was a loving and faithful wife to Ralph Lange and doting mother to her daughters, Janelle and Marissa. Kay enjoyed making crafts, knitting, crocheting, baking and took pride in her gardening.

            In addition to her husband and daughters, Kathleen is survived by her sisters, Carol (David) Borchardt, Dianne (Michael) Merkle and Debra Wentworth; niece, Jennifer Borchardt; nephews, Eric and Kevin Merkle and other close relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may visit Pilgrim Lutheran Church 1705 Nebobish Ave., Essexville, MI 48732 on Friday, August 18, 2017, from 11-12 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at Noon. Burial will follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery in Bay City, MI. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Pilgrim Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran Church, 4560 Glendale Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43614 or Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1705 Nebobish Ave., Essexville, MI 48732.
