Ronald E. "Ron" Roth

           Ronald E. Roth, 78, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on July 20, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.  Ron was born to Lester and Marion (Spidle) Roth on May 2, 1938 in Tiffin, Ohio.  He was married to Barbara “June” (Willis) Roth for 49 years and together they raised five children.  Ron was a graduate of Clay High School and worked as a Maintenance worker for Toledo Edison/Davis Bessy and in his free time, enjoyed woodworking and renovating homes.  He was a member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club.

            Ron was predeceased by his wife, Barbara; his parents, and siblings, Denny and Glenda.  He is survived by his children; Timothy (Patricia) Roth, Todd (Linda) Roth, Thomas (Kori) Roth, Troy (Renée) Roth and Jodi (Tim) Wise; his 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 2-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25th at St. Mark Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. with the family greeting guest one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
