Joseph A. Frayer

     Joseph A. Frayer, 67, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center of Ann Arbor.  He was born in Toledo on August 21, 1948 to Albert F. and Dorothy M. (Icheldinger) Frayer. Joseph proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, receiving a Bronze Star.  He began his career in the automotive parts manufacturing industry with L.O.F. and then with Reiter Automotive.

     Joseph is survived by his wife, Pamela S. Frayer; daughters, Rebecca and Andrea Frayer; stepson, John (Sabrina) Garrett; grandchildren, Hailey, J.T., Zoey, Trevor and Tyler; siblings, George (Jaque) Frayer of Greers Ferry, AR, Sandy (Larry) Swisher of Ann Arbor, MI and Susan (Herbert) Trapp of Saline, MI along with many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

     A Memorial Gathering will be held from 9:30-10:30 on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Peter Lutheran Church where the Memorial Service will begin at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 17877 OH-579, Martin, Ohio 43445 or the VA Hospital of Ann Arbor. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to his sister, Sandy, the staff at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System  and Heartland Health Care Center of Ann Arbor for their loving care shown to Joseph.
