Carol A. (Czechowski) Zam

Carol A. Zam, 76, of Oregon passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Avalon by Otterbein in Perrysburg. She was born September 29, 1939 in Toledo to Stanley and Anne (Hollo) Czechowski and was a 1957 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

For over 40 years, Carol was a real estate secretary serving agents with Mohon Realty, Coldwell Banker and then retiring from Danberry Co. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ernie Zam; daughters, Terri (Mark) Viers, Karen (Tom) Gahan and Susan (Calvin) Nichols; grandchildren, Andrea and Sarah Gahan, Lauren, Abby and Ryan Nichols. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service and burial will remain private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
